The calculator prices each block and then sums all blocks: 1) Compute Cost = hourly instance rate x instance count x instance hours/day x 30. 2) Storage Cost = storage rate/GB x storage size + read/write operation cost. 3) Data Transfer Cost = egress rate x egress GB + inter-region rate x inter-region GB. 4) Database Cost = (DB runtime cost + DB storage cost + DB IOPS cost), plus backup/replication uplift when selected. 5) Serverless Cost = memory-time compute cost + request count cost. 6) CDN Cost = CDN transfer cost + CDN request cost + optional edge location uplift. 7) Monitoring/Logging Cost = monitoring base + retention cost. 8) Support Cost = support plan base + optional support request cost. Finally, the selected pricing profile (AWS/Azure/GCP) applies profile multipliers and profile-specific rate tables.
